The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Andalucia awarded the AYE Andalusia Business Achievement Award 2014 to CBM (Central Broadcaster Media), a company that is part of Grupo Secuoya, in recognition of its consolidation in audiovisual production at national level.
The award was presented to the Chairman of Grupo Secuoya, Raúl Berdonés, at the Orive Palace in Cordoba, before 200 guests, in recognition of the “Granada-based company’s business consolidation and business achievement.
Central Broadcaster Media (CBM) is one of the leading companies in audiovisual production in Spain and sets a benchmark for news programs, TV content and resources. The company laid the foundation for what is today Grupo Secuoya, the largest audiovisual group in our country, which was born in Granada. CBM laid the solid foundations of what has grown to become a powerful group, Grupo Secuoya, and thus forms the core of the group’s business structure, and is both a model for the group and a benchmark for the world of audiovisual services. The company currently employs over 350 people working in over 45 Spanish cities, and is experiencing continued growth, valued at 80 million euros for the next 6 years.
CBM has been managing Antena 3’s news programs at national level for almost seven uninterrupted years. Moreover, the company’s audiovisual services have been increasingly expanding thanks to the outsourcing of news-related services for most regional television channels such as as IB3 in the Balearic Islands, 7RM in Murcia and TeleMadrid. In addition, the company also manages news-related services for the local television channel at municipal level in Granada, TG7. The network of branches and offices across the country allows the company to offer permanent services thanks to the over 180 teams operating in real time.
