Grupo Secuoya reached the end of the first semester with a net profit of 491,500 euros, an increase of 83% on the balance of June 2012.
Although these significant data show a tangible increase, both in the overall turnover and in the EBITDA, they do not express the real growth potential of the Group expected for the year 2013. This is because the most important contracts that have been signed will have greater impact during the second half of the year in terms of accounting. On the other hand, its financial debt sums 11.5 million euros compared with 9.1 million from year 2012. This fact shows just a slight increase despite the total amount of investment, confirming the Group’s position as one of the fastest growing within the sector. Both the aim to expand business development and to achieve an exemplary EBITDA debt ratio have been made possible thanks to the commitment of the partners concerned in signing a loan that totals 2 million euros in order to finance certain investments derived from agreements signed by Grupo Secuoya.
Grupo Secuoya is firmly established as a strategic provider of audiovisual content: the documentary reality show “Policías en acción” for La Sexta, the TV series “Vive Cantando” for Antena 3, the renewal of “Españoles por el mundo” with TVE, as well as the start up of the TV series “Víctor Ros” for the Government-owned TV station, are some of the milestones that confirm the Group’s consolidation. Furthermore, we must highlight the fact that, during the first half of the year, Grupo Secuoya has renewed and extended the terms of all outsourcing contracts with the national and regional TV networks. So far this year, the Group has launched new business lines, such as the incorporation of NovigoInteractive SL, a firm that joined the Marketing and Communication Department of Secuoya last March, and that delivers innovative interactive solutions. Furthermore, the Group created the brand Viewin, a global content management network that works through YouTube channels, the most visited audiovisual content platform on the Internet.
