From the 22nd until the 31st of October, Doha is set to host the IPC Athletics World Championships,the grand international competition that will crown the kings of the para-sport world. Nearly one hundred Spanish athletes will take part in the grand event in the Qatari capital. With David Casinos, Lorenzo Albadalejo, Elena Congost and Sara Martínez, among others, the Spanish athletes will seek not only to achieve the largest number of successes in this World Championship, but also to classify for the big event next summer, the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro.
This is the seventh World Championship and the first to be held outside Europe, running over ten intense days of athletics at the highest level.
