Tactics Europe Agency was awarded the filming of the TV advertisement for the 2013 Spanish Christmas Lottery (Loterías y Apuestas del Estado). They counted on enminúscula (Grupo Secuoya) for their production needs.
Tactics Europe chose enminúscula among several to film the most important ad of the year. The production company submitted a project with a vision that represented most accurately the creative idea, with Pablo Berger, the director of the award-winning film “Blancanieves”, as the director of the TV ad. The company enminúscula included many team members from the production team from the 2013 Goya winner: Kiko de la Rica (Director of Photography), Alain Bainée (Art Director), Sylvie Imbert (make-up), Fermín Galán (hairstyling) and Alfonso Villalonga (Musical Producer). All together, they won a total of seven Goya Awards, the annual awards granted by the Spanish Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. This year, the Christmas ad of Loterías y Apuestas del Estado will count on the five most iconic voices within their respective styles in Spain: Montserrat Caballé, Niña Pastori, Marta Sánchez, David Bustamante and Raphael.
In terms of production, enminúscula has spared no efforts in talents and resources. The three-day shooting in the village of Pedraza (Segovia) mobilized a total of 140 technical staff, 30 supporting actors and actresses, as well as over 400 extras. Transforming Pedraza into a “Christmas village” involved lighting 15,000 candles, releasing three helium balloons filled with light bulbs (each one of 5 meters diameter) and building a spectacular Christmas tree made from lottery drums with candles inside. The production process needed three HD cinema cameras, a 14-meter telescopic crane, a 12-meter hot head and a 12-meter camera dolly.
