In collaboration with the European Commission
Through its companies Efecto Global and Novigo, Secuoya launches FACE Entrepreneurship (Failure Aversion Change in Europe), a project financed by the European Commission within the Horizon 2020 Framework.
What is FACE? It is an ambitious transmedia campaign that will address fear of failure among youngsters when it comes to becoming entrepreneurs, and to do so they will create an interactive digital platform that will simulate “the path to entrepreneurship” showing the possible problems that can be faced throughout each stage.
How does it work? The participant will take part in a learning process that contains digital contents (web series, interviews with experts, educational content, hangouts, streamings…) and live events that will take place in seven European cities throughout 2015 and 2016. The campaign includes games as a dynamic way to support and encourage participants to get involved and remain on the platform
What is its aim? To boost entrepreneurship (particularly in terms of ICT), and achieve a change in Europe´s perception of failure. It is expected that FACE will make an impact on European youngsters, contributing to improve employment and wealth through the creation of new businesses, mostly based on technology.
Who forms part of it? It is a project by Grupo Secuoya supported by WAYRA and its various initiatives (Wayra, Amerigo, Crowdworkings networks, Talentum) and Bizspark-Microsoft, which will be in charge of providing logistical support and reinforcement to all actions carried out. FACE works in conjunction with a committee of experts such as an investor, mentor, accelerator, entrepreneur and an expert in legal issues and intellectual property rights. They will be responsible for defining the contents and methodology used in the campaign.
What does it represent for Grupo Secuoya? FACE is a paradigm of the powerful synergies created by the union between audiovisual communication and digital content platforms. This project implies recognition from Europe for Grupo Secuoya´s work, having provided the Commission with all their experience and know-how in Audiovisual Communication and digital innovation.
