The company is led by investors and shareholders José María Macías and Adolfo Fernández.
Grupo Secuoya has launched Nóvigo, a new company specialized in digital marketing, websites, apps, Internet consultancy, social media, Smart TV, innovative developments and B2C, among other business lines.
Nóvigo is partially owned by Grupo Secuoya, José María Macías (CEO) and Adolfo Fernández (Deputy Director of the company).
The team conducted by Nóvigo has commanded certain works of great media impact: the project mitele.es (Web TV of Grupo Mediaset), that became market leader within its segment; second screen actions along with Imagenio (Grupo Telefónica) and Fox in order to connect the audiovisual media with mobile devices; the first e-learning portal in Spain, AulaFacil.com, unique in its sector when it was launched 14 years ago; and the creation of the online campaign for the repositioning of the Vichy’s brand Normaderm (Grupo L’Oréal) through an action which had huge impact on the Internet, among others.
With this new firm, Grupo Secuoya intends to position itself in a fast-growing market, seeking to take advantage of new opportunities and synergies derived from the connection between the television industry and the latest digital environments.
HIGHLY EXPERIENCED TEAM
Even though Nóvigo is a young company, the Board of Directors is made up of individuals with extensive expertise in the digital marketing sector and in interactive developments. They have led digital agencies, developed interactive projects in multinational firms and created Internet enterprises.
José María Macías,Chief Executive Officer, has 17 years of experience in marketing, management and internet project management. He has been on both sides: as a client in multinational companies and as a provider, thus enriching his business perspective.
He has headed strategic projects as part of the senior management team of several organizations, carrying out the design and implementation of several strategic plans.
Adolfo Fernández Úcar, Deputy Director, has worked in the digital sector for 15 years, having been involved in almost every aspect of the business. Consequently, he has gained multidisciplinary expertise in development, conceptualization of projects, creativity, consultancy, business and production management.
Following the creation and launch of Nóvigo, Grupo Secuoya has now generated a new link in the value chain of the audiovisual industry, by delivering new business lines that interact with the rest of the Group’s companies.
