Secuoya Servicios, Grupo Secuoya’s division that specializes in outsourcing for TV channels and in technical solutions for production companies, has reinforced its structure by founding this new firm: Drago Broadcast Services (DBS). Secuoya Servicios has thus been significantly strengthened in order to achieve greater presence within the audiovisual sector.
DBS has recruited Jesús Martín, Juan Pedro Rodríguez de la Osa and David González, previous employees at Vértice Servicios Audiovisuales. They will also hold shares at DBS. Secuoya Servicios will provide its customers with a large team of professionals and with all of its technical media, comprising assets valued at 6 million euros.And what is more, the firm will additionally invest at least 2 million euros in the acquisition of new technical equipment. Jesús Martín comes from Vértice Servicios Audiovisuales, where he held the position of Sales Manager. Additionally, he previously worked as Director of Development in Videoreport, and as Sales and Development Manager in Telefónica Servicios Audiovisuales (TSA). Juan Pedro Rodríguez de la Osa also worked at Vértice Servicios Audiovisuales, where he served as Chief Executive Officer and previously as the Director of Production Services. David González, who had worked in Videoreport as Services Manager until now, also joined the team. According to Raúl Berdonés, Executive Chairman of Grupo Secuoya, “the coming on board of such reputed personnel, with a professional background of more than 20 years, will provide our project with new clients and innovative market niches, and will help us to become the leading firm in the midst of a changing Spanish audiovisual market”. Secuoya Servicios is a division of Grupo Secuoya and comprises four business lines, which are different but complementary, under the management of Antonio Campos (Director of the AudioVisual Services Division): Central Broadcast Media (CBM), in charge of outsourcing for TV channels, resource management and optimization, outsourcing and public tender processes; B&S Engineering, dedicated to the engineering, maintenance, distribution and sales of equipment; Wikono, whose business objective focuses on providing occasional services for TV channels and production companies all around the world; and Drago Broadcast Service (DBS), which takes on some of the previous activities carried out by B&S aiming at delivering production and technical services to TV channels, production companies and event planning companies. DBS will provide its services to all kinds of broadcasts, rental of mobile units, assistance in TV sets, lighting, make-up, and audio and video postproduction, as well as any other technical or human services that may be needed by TV channels or production companies for fiction series, TV shows or events.
