This January, the regional television of Murcia, which is indirectly managed by Grupo Secuoya, has reached its historic peak in audience data in terms of the first month of the year. The channel has signed a 3% screen share, improving its results by 25% over the average since the beginning of broadcasting and by the same percentage over last year. The channel’s solidity stands out from Monday to Friday, where it climbed 3 tenths to an average share of 2.9%. In addition, the historical maximum for the average of the weekends with a 3.2% “share”. The 7TV stands out as a news reference from 2pm to 3pm with a 6.8% share from Monday to Friday, rising to 7.8% share on weekends during 7N Noticias 2. Almost one million of viewers enjoyed the channel during January, 4% more than in January 2019.
These data shows that La 7TV is enjoyed by its viewers, since it averages an average daily consumption of 38.5 minutes per viewer that passes through the channel, the maximum in this variable of acceptance of the channel’s content, increasing the time spent on the channel by 15.6% compared to the other months of January. The television channel managed by Secuoya achieved the 7th most viewings of all the regional channels in the month with the retransmission of the Three Wise Men parade, which doubled the number of viewers of the competition in its broadcasting band and improved by 73% to the best result of this retransmission to date. The space “Murcia Conecta”, on the other hand, continued to improve its results by signing its best share since October with an average of 4.1%, 5 tenths of a point higher than the last month of the year. As far as the regional news is concerned, the most watched news of the month was the second edition of 7N Noticias 2 on 19th January, with more than 120,000 contacts and a share of 11.5%.
At the same time, this success has been reinforced by a successful presence in social networks and visits to the corporate website. The latter grew by 26.35% in visits over the previous year with 17.15% more news replays. With regard to social networks, 7TV is the third most popular medium in the region and is growing on Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. In terms of the video channel, the channel has seen its number of subscribers grow by 13.3% over the last twelve months.
